KNXSENSE › Marks

Partner and Compatible.

Two marks. KNXSENSE Partner is for companies that use the service and want to say so. KNXSENSE Compatible is for a device that works as a KNXSENSE recorder.

Both may be used under the terms on this page.

The marks

Two files each.

Use the version made for your background. The files carry their own typography, so the mark looks the same everywhere and there is no font to install.

Copy the code, and the mark points to us.

A link inside an SVG is ignored when the file is used as an image, so the mark has to be wrapped in one. Copy the snippet below; swap -light for -dark if your background is dark.

Linking straight to the file above is fine, and it means the mark stays current if we ever refresh it. If you would rather not depend on our server, download the file and host it yourself — keep the link on the image either way.

Who may use them

One is about you, the other about a device.

KNXSENSE Partner

A company with a KNXSENSE subscription may use the Partner mark on its own website, offers and marketing material, for as long as that subscription is active.

No separate permission is needed. When the subscription ends, stop using the mark.

KNXSENSE Compatible

A manufacturer may use the Compatible mark for a device whose integration has passed our compatibility check, for as long as that device is supported.

The mark belongs to that device, not to the manufacturer’s other products. The Recorder API page explains how a device becomes one.

How to use them

Seven rules.

  • Use the files as they are. Do not change the colours, the proportions, the typography or the wording, and do not add anything inside the mark.
  • Use it at its natural size or larger, so the role word stays readable.
  • Leave clear space around it — at least the height of the pulse symbol on every side.
  • The mark is not a logo. Do not make it part of your own logo, and do not give it more prominence than your own brand.
  • Say what it says. The mark means that you use KNXSENSE, or that a device works with it. It does not mean that KNXSENSE made, owns or endorses your company or your product.
  • It is not a KNX certification. KNXSENSE is an independent service and is not connected to KNX Association. Do not present the mark as approval by them.
  • We may ask you to stop. If we do, remove the mark within a reasonable time.

Anything not covered here — a different colour, a variant of your own, the mark on packaging or in a product name — needs our written agreement first. Ask at support@knxsense.com.
